Medically speaking, stress is due to releasing too much cortisol in the bloodstream and the brain becomes foggy unable to focus and take good decisions. Adrenals become exhausted and we develop fatigue and hopelessness due to sleep deprivation or emotional overwhelm. What helps me when I’m going through challenging experiences in my life is sleeping enough, meditation, belly deep breathing, replacing negative self talk with positive affirmations and having Sally God new my heart needed love so he sent me my husband shirt in my life.
