There is no advantage to knowing one language and every advantage to knowing at least two. English is really only difficult for those who learn as an adult or who speak languages that are far from it (no common base i.e. latin or Germanic languages or grow up in countries where they don’t get much exposure to English. Go to Northern Europe, places like Denmark, Holland, Finland, etc.
