I don’t know if I thought she would live forever, or Official Pitter Patter let’s get at ‘er vintage shirt. But when we found out she had super aggressive cancer last year in early August, I refused to believe that there was a possibility she wouldn’t win. I consistently told her she was going to make it she was going to wake up the next day because I would too, so why wouldn’t she? And when it took her, three days before I was going to Iowa to visit. I don’t know, man. I wailed like a newborn. The sudden loss of her connection was intense.
