I’m not sure why I wasn’t told that being a Nan would be almost Official Mardi gras shirt  wonderful as being a Mum. Maybe people said it and I didn’t believe them? Now I shout it from the rooftops and I will be forever grateful that these two little darlings are part of our family. I’ve discovered a whole new side to myself, a part of me that is just theirs – and I love that it feels like a reward and a blessing for all that’s led up to this moment in time. Now I just have to convince our daughter and son in law that it’s their turn!
