I did that all the time with Subs and the first Luckiest Substitute Teacher ever Irish shirt of school because my legal first name is John, but I go by Andrew and told them the first few times they called roll. So for my normal teachers I would give them a week then I wouldn’t answer to John. I would do the same to subs if I had had that sub many times that year.
