I think what everyone always fails to mention is that you should be giving without expectations. You’re just as self serving as the takers if you only give. Because you want Llama said knock you out boxing shirt in return. Whether it’s a physical item/service or even because you crave the praise. No problem with giving here not even when I don’t get a thank you for it. But if the taker  demands how much you give and how often then that is a completely different story!
