I want that I’m a simple woman I love wine flip flop dog paw and baseball shirt. It’s a great encapsulation. But not worrying about things you can’t change is different from smiling. A lot of people smile to cover up their pain and pretend it’s not there. That isn’t the same as confronting your own suffering and working with it. Just smiling is not enough. You have to do the inner work that makes the smile come naturally, rather than forcing it or pasting it on top. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
