I read her article to the end. She did not say anything against the I really do need to stab something shirt. But the “head line” of her article seemed to lead readers to think that. Shame on people writing comments without reading the content first! She’s missing the point.. The point is that it was the harassers/abusers/rapists who were defining the sexuality of their victims. How the victim felt about their sexuality or intended level of sexuality they were intending to project, or not project, was irrelevant.

However, the debate is healthy, and while it is fair to criticize, she should not be attacked and called names. I had read this piece, among many of the other voices speaking out about HW as well as the Industry, and I appreciated MB’s words as much as those from other actresses speaking out. She spoke her truth and I see no reason whatsoever for any backlash.
