I’ve always thought we should incorporate veggie gardens and Harry Potter Kentucky Crossroads shirt. So many city kids have no idea how wonderful fresh food is and where it comes. It’s amazing isn’t that so many kids don’t know how to grow their own. As a mother of a child that just finished kindergarten, I wish he’d had this freedom. They expected him to sit quietly and do book work and take lessons for 8 hours a day. Of course, he got in trouble for talking and acting out. You can’t expect a 5/6-year-old to sit still and listen for 8 hours. Common core, folks. It’s detrimental to our kids. It’s a failure. It needs to be replaced. My son wasn’t a child, he was a potential test score and paycheck for the school. Maybe ask yourselves.
