Some of the Extra Thankful This Year Shirt made me think of when we had to shave my sons head, he loved hair but when the chemo made it start falling out he cried about being bald. He ended up liking it bald but the initial shock. Same thing happened with my daughter at age 5. Funny how I was always scared she would cut her own hair so I always kept scissors away from her but she lost all of it due to chemo. Grew back beautifully though. I know what you mean, funny how our perspectives change with chemo. I thought it was weird how much darker his hair came back in, was a light brown before and dark brown now. Did your daughters hair change. We’re friends with another little girl whose hair didn’t came back in curly the way it was before loosing it. Girl you really think you want some. I’ll put something on you you cant get rid of.
