That wasn’t so much the boomers, as the Dorothy and Alice I love weed to the moon er back shirt. Only the oldest boomers would have really been old enough to have been truly involved in those changes, most actually came of age in the 70’s. Boomers had the advantage of the social safety net, the move toward civil rights, etc and the powerful among them are choosing to throw it away. They seem to think they’re immortal. I say, I hope Reich is right, and yay millennials. I think having to struggle builds character. I’m an early boomer and my dad a blue collar worker. there were many strikes and tough times.
