Those mice need wiped out. What will work but maybe if humans introduce a trap that offers an easier, tempting food water source to the mice, maybe it’ll help direct them away from the birds. I’m not an animal expert so this is just my own thoughts so I’m sure they will know a ton more on the topic than me on how to handle this situation effectively.
