Because I know, from things I’ve read, that many Muslim women feel pride in their hijab and it makes them feel beautiful. So I compliment it like I would earrings or a necklace I think is lovley of . I do it too! I hate all the racism in the world and if a simple smile and hello helps that, then awesome.I just noticed it recently too that I go out of my way to smile and show kindness to pretty much everone in these dark times, especially those that I’m afraid might think exactly what this beautiful lady thinks of … That I might be scared of her or think bad thoughts of her, which would honestly break my heart! This world needs more smiles and understanding.
